By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: Caden Tellier, a quarterback for Selma (Ala.) Morgan Academy, died following a head injury suffered during Friday night’s season-opening high school football game, his parents have confirmed. Arsella Slagel Tellier and Jamie Tellier posted the update in a joint statement on their Facebook page after the private school’s matchup with Southern Academy in Selma.
“Our boy, Caden Tellier has met Jesus face to face,” the post reads.
