247Sports: College football fans everywhere are looking for answers. After reports on Monday indicated that the Big Ten Conference was canceling its 2020 season because of concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, questions immediately began surrounding the other conferences in the sport.
The ACC was one of the conferences that was reported to be unsure about the season’s future. But it sounds like the conference might have the green light to play. According to a report from Sports Business Daily, Duke Dr. Cameron Wolfe, an infectious disease specialist who chairs the ACC’s medical advisory team, said that doctors have a good enough of a grip on COVID-19 that the ACC season can move forward as schedule and be safe.
