247Sports: The NCAA moved Wednesday to extend the recruiting dead period for FBS football teams through the end of September.
This now marks 153 consecutive days of dead period, which was enacted on March 13, shortly after sports shut down across the country. It will be 201 days by the end of September.
That seems like a lot, but if you’re not familiar with the NCAA recruiting calendar, you may not understand what is normally going on during this time.
