By Grant Hughes, 247Sports: Spring practice sessions are wrapping up, and team insiders dished the latest news on how the top 10 quarterback recruits from the class of 2025 performed in their first offseasons on campus. Michigan signal caller Bryce Underwood is among the handful competing for the starting job this offseason and turned heads in Ann Arbor this spring.
Four class of 2025 quarterbacks — Underwood, Keelon Russell, Tavien St. Clair and Husan Longstreet — earned five-star status, while the rest of the top 10 earned ratings of 94 or higher. The SEC and Big Ten each landed four passers from the top 10, sparking intense offseason battles with returnees and transfer portal additions at their respective teams.
