By Clint Brewster, 247Sports: Week 2 provided more data points on which quarterbacks will become the stars of college football this season. It became more clear which teams have a signal-caller who can go out and win a game, and which teams do not.
Although some schools still have not been tested (Ole Miss and Jaxson Dart have had two dominating wins over Furman and Middle Tennessee State), there were big games in Week 2 that allowed quarterbacks to thrive under pressure or struggle against better competition.
Quinn Ewers showed out on the road against Michigan in the Big House, while Shedeur Sanders struggled at Nebraska. Two players expected to be in the early Heisman conversation went in opposition directions.
