It was another good week for several former SuperWest players.
Each week I highlight the Top 10 performances of West Coast school alums in our coverage footprint.
Here are my choices for the final week of the regular season.
Top 10 Week 18 NFL Performers
1. Bo Nix, QB, Broncos/Oregon
Nix threw for 321 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions for a 152.4 passer rating and rushed for 47 yards in the Broncos’ 38-0 win over Kansas City.
His completion rate of 89.7% was the highest single-game completion percentage by a rookie quarterback with a minimum of 25 pass attempts in NFL history.
2. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers/Oregon
Herbert completed 77.8% of his passes for 346 yards and two touchdowns in the season finale. The former Duck also added 49 yards rushing in the win over Vegas.
It was just his second game with 300+ yards through the air in 2024.
3. Drake London, WR, Falcons/USC
The Falcons came into this game needing a win and a Bucs loss. Neither of those happened, however, the former Trojan did all he could to try to get Atlanta the win.
London finished the day with 10 receptions for 187 yards and a couple of TDs.
4. Michael Penix Jr., QB, Falcons/Washington
The rookie QB from Washington had his best performance in his third start throwing for 312 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The former Husky certainly performed once his number was called and Atlanta has got to feel good about their QB situation for the foreseeable future.
5. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Jets/Cal
Rodgers threw for 274 yards and four TDs in the Jets season ending win over the Dolphins and what could be his last NFL game.
For his career, the former Golden Bear has 503 regular-season touchdown passes and became the fifth player in NFL history with 500 regular-season touchdown passes.
6. Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE, Giants/Oregon
The former Duck finished the 2024 season on a high note.
In the loss to the Eagles, Thibodeaux recorded a season-high 1.5 sacks along with four tackles and three QB hits.
7. Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers/Oregon
The former Duck continued his strong rookie campaign with a solid week 18 and will get to continue his first season in the postseason as his Buccaneers won the NFC South.
In the win over the Saints the rookie ran for 89 yards and a TD on 19 carries.
8. Marcus Mariota, QB, Commanders/Oregon
Mariota completed 15 of 18 pass attempts for 161 yards and 2 TDs as he led Washington to a win in Dallas.
The former Duck also added 56 yards and a TD on the ground.
9. Tanner McKee, QB, Eagles/Stanford
McKee got the start with Jalen Hurts resting and Kenny Pickett injured.
The former Cardinal made the most of his opportunity throwing for 269 yards and a couple of touchdowns as he led the Eagles to victory.
10. Devin Lloyd, LB, Jaguars/Utah
Lloyd closed out the season with a six-tackle and one-sack performance against the Colts.
The former Ute had two tackles for loss and a QB hit in the Jaguars loss.
Other Notable Performances
Fred Warner, LB, 49ers/BYU—8 tackles, 2 TFL
