By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: Each fall a handful of players make the strides from relative obscurity to a key role on the Oregon offense or defense. These players don’t carry a history of success with the team, but due to circumstances, or previously untapped potential, make the leap to contributors.
In the past we’ve seen it come from freshmen players. Thomas Graham, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Jevon Holland and Byron Cardwell were immediate contributors as true freshman.
